Industry vs Players
2011 Pros vs Joes Draft Challenge!

The 2011 Pros vs Joes Draft Challenge is on! The FFPC (Fantasy Football Players Championship) and FantasyMojo.com have once again combined forces to conduct one of the premier expert leagues in the industry today.

The concept is simple. Take a group of hard core FFPC high stakes fantasy football players (the Joes) and pit them against a contingent of fantasy industry experts (the Pros). We will have at least 84 teams participating this year (half pros and half Joes). The overall field is divided into separate 'Divisions'. Each division of 12 conducts their own draft. The highest scoring team across all divisions is crowned the 2011 Pros vs Joes Draft Challenge Champion.

Each division conducts their own 26 round draft. This is a Draft Experts format (best ball) where your best performing players at each position are automatically used for your lineup based on that week's results. Points are calculated through week 16. The scoring rules are based on FFPC rules which is unique in that tight ends get 1.5 points per reception. Weekly lineups also allow for a dual flex spot. Each week a lineup will consist of 1 QB,2 RB,2 WR,1 TE,2 Flex (RB,WR,TE),1 K, 1 D .

Each team will compete within their division to win the league crown, but the overall totals will be tallied to keep track of points scored across all divisions to determine an overall winner. The team with the highest overall points is the 2011 Pros vs Joes Draft Challenge Champion!

Prizes? You bet! One of the signatures of this event is a series of bounties levied by one side against the other. In 2010, there were some significant and unique prizes that were up for grabs, and all of that info is nicely organized HERE

In 2010, across the 8 divisions, there were 4 Joes that captured league crowns, and 4 Pros that won their league. The overall champ? It was a Joe, Les Sandlin whose team was named Sandman's Time.

So where does the field of competitors come from? This is a FREE competition! However, spaces are limited. To qualify as a Joe you must register over at myffpc.com . Additionally, you must be a FFPC player. At the time of contestant selections, you must have been signed up for at least one FFPC league in 2011.
