2010 Big Payback Satellite Draft Live!!

On Friday night (8/27), FantasyMojo.com will again participate in the $500 entry FFPC "Big Payback" Satellite league, to be broadcast live BlogTalkRadio.com, hosted by RedvsBlue Sports Talk Radio. We've got the 3 pick so I can guarantee you Steven Jackson won't be on our team again (OUCH!).

If you want the freshest snapshot of where players are going (especially in an FFPC or Footballguys Players Championship format), you need to check out this draft. You can listen to the broadcast live or replay HERE, or hop in the draft room and watch the picks go off HERE. (Sorry, no color coded draft grid by RTSports, but we'll get that up after the draft is over, so check back here after the dust has settled).

As a recap of this Big Payback Satellite, remember that this is the FFPC scoring system, where tight ends get 1.5 points per reception, (1 pt PPR otherwise) so keep that in mind. But you should certainly see where some of the more serious contestants in fantasy football are drafting players. Throw the ADP you see in mock drafts out the window. When big money is on the line, you go after the players you want!

This is a conventional league format, where you must manage your lineups and roster on a weekly basis through the course of the year, and its a victory points format. The league champion gets a free entry into 2011 FFPC Big Payback, valued at $5000. Runner up gets a free entry into 2011 Big Payback Satellite valued at $500. There is a cash option for prizes at $4700 & $450 but the obvious advantage of playing this satellite and maximizing you ROI is winning the free seat in the Big Payback. The $5,000 Big Payback league drafts live in Vegas and has payouts as follows:

1st Place: $25,000
2nd Place: $15,000
3rd Place: $5,000

with #1 and 2 seeds also getting $5,000 each .

So enough background on what this is all about,
