The Bears have released this underachieving, professionally immature player. Now, it seems, the Bear running game has little direction. Can Matt Forte really come in and take the job? It would seem more likely that the Bears sign some veteran available (Shaun Alexander??).
I'm sure the Bears regret (again) having discarded Thomas Jones. Jones performed well for them, and was reliable. However, they chose to give the keys to Benson. A man who makes poor decisions in life, as well as on the field.
